What other make & models parts can I use for a replacement?

Can I use parts from a vr4 or stealth or even
a Mitsubishi gto?

Yea you should be able to use a wide variety of parts. The only variation is the drivetrain/trans (fwd/awd parts). plus vr4 and SL engine are completely different ( sohc and Dohc). keep in mind of what car your picking from.
