Most bolt on parts will enter change but internal parts should be different(piston, bore size and heads). Not exactly sure what parts are different but the turbo runs at a lower compression than the none turbo so there are differences. Hope this helps.
That engine is not all that hard to rebuild that is as long as no major internal parts are broke. Search eBay for your parts they are much cheaper there than at the parts house. That's what I would do. That way when you are done you will know what you have and it will run good as new.
but the engine block itself is the same , as for the rebuilding my brother is a mechanic so i'd probably have him do the work for me so pistons i can deal with whats good out of mine and the upper intake manifolds are the same also arnt they?
I believe they are both 6g72 engines. But I'mnot msureif they are the same. Since turbo engines are meant to take more abuse tthan a base model
