Mechanical fan to Electric Fan

Asked by TREMMEL Jan 09, 2017 at 05:31 PM about the 1992 Mazda B-Series B2200 LB RWD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1992 Mazda B2200 and I want to change
the mechanical fan to an electric fan. There is plenty
of room but I'm not too knowledgeable in
mechanics. Is this possible to do and could this
give me a little more power?

All it will do is keep it cool, which is a good thing. You can order a fan kit for that vehicle, I am sure it would come with instruction for installation. Your not going to gain much in HP since you still need to drive the accessories with a belt, = alternator, water pump, power steering and AC if you have it.
