i have a 2001 mitsubishi galant es when i turn on my lights my back tail light would not turn on i put in a new bulb and it would not come on

First check your fuses. Then check out this site:http://www.mitsubishisucks.com/cars/recalls/usa/galant.html Look for recall ID OV339000. There is a recall for faulty wiring that affects the rear tail lights. Take it to the dealer. They will run the VIN # if it falls under the recall, they should fix it for free.
