I want to put a manual transmission in my automatic 2009 mitsubishi galant

Question type: Car Customization

I think it would be a lot of fun to own a
manual galant but I'm not sure how to go
about getting the swap. Can anyone
recommend what transmission and give a
list of parts needed?

I could get a fast car if I wanted to. I am just trying to have fun and make a sleeper car out of it. I know it's a terrible idea but I've never seen a nodded galant and think it might be fun.

You guys are funny.. look bro I have a 2012 galant that I completely souped I took the 160hp and cranked it up to 270hp smashing on anyone. Start with your headers bro then your exhaust remove the resinator replace with a straight pipe. Parts are a little hard to find at first but once you get it it's smooth sailing from there.

David, First off Galant are far from Boring people don't suspect them for being decently Fast. I've out ran plenty of Mustang V6 to GT and few Honda's on top of that and now with my motor Swap done from my wrecked Evo 8 I bet it could out run or keep up with most of anything that pulls up. I put a Manual Transmission in also and it didn't cost that much it's just finding the transmission and Time to do it is the problem.
