Rear Door Panel Removal on 88 Buick LeSabre Custom

Asked by Lesabre88 Sep 20, 2022 at 03:02 PM about the 1988 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have removed most of the door panel
connections: the window regulator, the
armrest screws, the door handle panel
screw, the door lock screws on the side,
but I am stuck on the grip strap
connection. How do you separate the
handle strap from the door?

on removal, there is only one screw. gently pry off the liner with a plastic scraper. then find the area where the screw is at. allen wrench or torx will loosen.
