A/C Not working 2012 Ford F150

Have a 2012 Ford F150 about 1 and half years ago AC stopped working.
They mechanic I brought it to showed me some little injector thing that had a
build up on it like grease and stated it was the cause. He said it was suppose
to go up and down when compressor comes on but with the build up it was
not doing that. He charged me 160.00 to ( not sure he either cleaned it or
replace it. ) Now almost 2 years later same issue. Blowing hot air but I can
find nothing online about this injector thing. Does anyone know what it is
actually called or how to get to it to replace or clean it?

Start out by just asking someone if they will check ur freon level for free. It may jus blow on freon.
