2012 Ford f150

We just recently bought our son a 2012
ford f150 v6 3.7L  supercrew cab. We
live in texas & have had some cold
weather here lately. Like a week or so
ago we had a cold night & the truck
wouldn't start the next morning. My son
left me the keys to periodically try
starting it, finally later that afternoon it
started right up once the weather
warmed up. I had my son put a fuel
additive & fill the tank. Now here a few
days ago we've had cold weather for the
past week now & the truck will not start
again. Lived in texas all my life & never
had this problem. Was wondering if y'all
had any suggestions on what could be
causing the issue.

When not starting does the engine turn over and just not start? First thing I would do is have the battery tested and take a good close look at the battery connections.
