Misfire on Cyl 1, 3, 4, lean on bank 1

Asked by Bak2construction May 31, 2018 at 12:14 AM about the 2006 Lincoln Mark LT SuperCrew 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT with a 5.4L.  I have misfire on cyl. 1, 3, 4 and
lean bank 1.   Prior to this I constantly had problems with Cyl 4 misfiring when
I got over 70 or was pulling a trailer.  I have had the plugs all replaced, as well
as the MAF, Catalytic Converters, 02 sensors that needed ( or not ) and the
problems have gotten worse.  I have tried finding a vacuum leak burnt
through 3 cans of carb cleaner and nothing not even a hickup.  I’m at a loss
where to look next.  Any advice would be helpful.  I have seen the VCT videos
but?

Thank you, so you think bad fuel could be the culprit? But why would it only effect one fuel rail? Just bad luck? It’s going to the shop as soon as I can get it in to have a compression test, injector test done and see where things sit from there. I love the truck and just can’t pin this one.
