Why wont my engine Start

So i have a 1997 ram 1500 with the 5.9l and its 4x4 so recently the transmission went
out so i got a new one, so i replaced the motor from the 97' with a motor from a 99 ram
1500 same 360,I installed it everything hooked up except the intake i had to switch it
out with the 97 rams intake so the wire harness would hookup went to crank it up and
it just literally turns over it tries to start but it won't only thing i havent changed is the
ECM/Brainbox Please Anybody help me with this situation it;s my first truck and im all
out of ideas SMH!

Have you checked for fuel pressure at the fuel rail? Have you checked for fire at the plugs?
