TIMING BELT!!!!!!! research timing belt and Aveo and you will see.. Mine went up at less than 70K miles..they are BAD BAD BAD motors... it's BS that Chevy would even continue to sell this shit.. and not make good to owners
I have a 2009 chevy aveo. I love it it runs great. But it has a quirk. When I come to a stop it pulsates to lurch forward. I've tried ac on or off. Different gas. Had mechanic put on machine and tested it. All came back good. But it still is doing it. Any clues?

Noooo we have a 2008 Chevy aveo5 la. It left us stranded of the highway with our newborn! We've replaced the fuel pump, ignition coil, plugs twice, wires and now has a gm computer put in new! Still the same problem! Multiple codes coming up. It gets stuck at 55 and 65 mph. Then started lunging forward. Finally shutoff and we pulled it off the shoulder. Now it doesn't go past 15 mph. Luckily a church put us up... We've been here for 3 weeks trying to figure everything out.
I have 2007 Chevrolet aveo, engine vibrate and pulling sometimes go off when I accelerate. I have changed the fuel pump, spark plugs but still same fault. Any help

The problem is its a Chevy, or at least something that Chevy put there name on! it just goes to show that Chevrolet is JUNK!! They put their name on some foreign built junk just like they build!! I thought Chevrolet was an American car manufacturer? Buy a Ford and be worry free
I have a 2011 Aveo-for the starting problem question-I suggest the crank alignment sensor. Could be unsnapped. Good luck
