Gas tank overflowing

How do I fix my over flowing gas tank. On my 2004
grand prix

Sounds like it has a hole in it. If so, the best fix is a different gas tank. They should be a dime a dozen at the auto wreckers. You could also patch it with SealAll and some fabric if the hole isn't too huge and the tank is otherwise sound.
