Parting out
Have a 2003 Grand Prix GTP that got into a wreck.
Only had liability insurance so now it just sits here.
Only 130k on the engine and a 3 month old
transmission. Not sure what to do with it
Part it out or call Pick-a-Part to haul it off, You might even get a couple of bucks for it.
Where is a good place to part it out? Craigslist? Called a local salvage yard and they offered me $250 if the engine runs and I deliver. Just makes me sick
Craig's List but I would save the headaches and let the junk yard have it - your choice.
Craigslist, kijiji, and whatever local online classified ad website you have in your area. Sadly, due to the amount of labor required to pull the drivetrain out of a modern car it’s not worth much. Try to sell it complete or you’ll be stuck with the remains which will cost you as much to dispose of as you got for the parts you sold. Be sure to put full insurance on your next car unless you can afford to take a financial hit like this again.
Did you still have this vehicle if so I will give you 80 bucks for the radiator if it works I just bought a 2004 Pontiac GTP supercharged and I need a radiator

I got a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix gtp Supercharged 3.8L series III . FULLY LOADED black leather bose sound system. Just did a engine swap cause I blew a rod through the side of the engine block. The new/used engine I swapped it with has only 81k miles! The Supercharger is freshly rebuilt. The one bad thing is the tyranny needs to be replaced. I'm $3600 in already from the start of the engine swap and cant or rather I should say won't pay another 2200 to 2600 for my transmission to be rebuilt.
