If i have a code coming up for 6 cylinder misfire could the injector wire make it misfire if its dead?

was told by a shop that injector wire was dead and its the reason  for misfire
and skipping i changed my spark plugs and wires including the ingnition coil
pack, could it be the injector wire

Check drive pulses to that injector if good, this will eliminate the possibility of a bad control module.Try swapping injector # 6 with another injector and re-scan the ECM. If the trouble moves to the other cylinder change injector but if the trouble remains with cylinder #6, run compression test on that cylinder.
