Key ignition won't turn with key in it

I'd just check to make sure key is in all the way, but most likely the steering wheel needs to tried to be turned one way or another to allow it to catch.

i just jammed in real hard and turned ignition and steering wheel and thought i was going to break it but it turned finally

Bgfordclub is right, just wiggle the wheel side to side a little as you turn ignition, should pop in and turn

No, wiggling the steering wheel will NOT fix it!! Been dealing with it for months and months and it is getting harder and harder. You have to push the key in REAL hard while you are turning the key. Now, even THAT is not working all the time. I cannot afford to have Ford fix it.

I have the same problem , could you please advise what to do? I have to push the key in and turn , I have to try this few times, 3,4 times that finally (by luck) or whatever it turns on. I need to fix it tell me what need to be fixed? Thanks

Shake your key up an down side to side while shaking the wheel its horrible an takes alotbof effort butbworks every time
