manually cycling ignition

Question type: General

The instructions state to turn the ignition key from lock to on 10 times.   where
is the key (I have a fob) and don't know where lock and on are located on the
dash

In new Foresters the key is inside the fob. How about you read that mysterious book taking up space in the glove box?
