I have lost my key and the car says "don't forget your key"

Looks clear to me. The key is somewhere in the vehicle. It’s been my experience that if you loose something in a car it will find the most hidden place it can be in. My daughter dropped one of her ear pods between the seat and the console and couldn’t find it until I started taking out the seat, it had managed to get in under a carpet flap that covered the seat mount along with the plastic trim piece. The key's in the car, so the computer is reading it.. Find it, take the key with you, and that message will stop.
