How do I know if my thermal tate is good on
my 1997 acura

take it out. and put in in a cup of hot water...also check for binding..

If it is not overheating I wouldn't be concerned. If it is overheating check for leaks, proper coolant level and change the thermostat. They are not expensive and usually not worth testing.
