Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trying to figure out the best way to get my starter out.  Its
jammed so the starter is no good. Im trying to pull it from
the top.   Reason im thinking starter is because motor ran
fine and start no longer makes any sound.  Checke
solenoid and it sparked but no movement. Help???

So after about a month of digging around. I figured out that my ignition was no longer recognizing the chipped key even though my red anti theft light didnt blink. Wouldnt allow my car to start. I took the car to get an aftermarket alarm and had a ford technician disable the old anti theft and now the car works wonderfully. Although it will need a new power steering pump
