where is the pvc valve on a 2002 mercury couger 2.5l?

But now I don't trust that site because the same guy said the PCV is only for emissions and not needed. Which is NOT TRUE. The crankcase MUST be ventilated somehow from a vacuum source. See this: http://repairpal.com/where-is-the-pcv-valve-located-621

The above is Rockauto and lists a PCV valve for 2002 Mercury Cougar w/2.5. Still trying to FIND the dang thing. It's some odd get-up not in valve cover
