Why it stands out
The 2016 Toyota 4Runner distinguishes itself in a market increasingly dominated by crossovers, embracing its traditional SUV roots with excellent off-road capabilities and a robust design. Sporting a strong 4.0-liter V6 engine, it delivers 270 horsepower along with features like crawl-speed control and a locking rear differential, which enhance its off-road performance. The vehicle has received high praise from drivers, particularly for its reliability, spacious interior, and strong resale value. While it may lack certain modern amenities like USB ports and some advanced safety features, the 4Runner provides a great balance of functionality and durability, ideal for those who prioritize adventure over everyday comfort. Features such as an upgraded Entune system and durable interior materials also highlight the model's blend of practicality and style. Despite being less fuel-efficient than its crossover competitors, the 4Runner remains a top choice for those seeking a capable SUV.

This is a solid vehicle. There are some minor issues that are all covered under the extended warranty except a broken taillight. The entire light assembly is 129$ and extremely easy to replace. The inside looks like its barely been used at 97k miles. Engine sounds good and the power is immediate when you touch the pedal.
