Why it stands out
The 2016 Honda Civic distinguishes itself in the compact car segment with a blend of style, performance, and reliability. This iteration makes bold design choices, stepping away from its past as a rather mundane car to present a sleek, attractive silhouette that rivals higher-end vehicles. Reviews highlight its smooth driving experience and exceptional fuel efficiency, with models achieving up to 31 mpg in the city and 42 mpg on the highway. The Civic's interior has seen significant upgrades, showcasing soft-touch materials and a cleaner, more modern layout that enhances its overall refinement.
Safety remains a top priority; it earned 5-star ratings from the NHTSA and was recognized as a Top Safety Pick+ by the IIHS. The availability of the Honda Sensing suite across various trims is a significant advantage, providing buyers with advanced safety technologies at an accessible price point. While the driving experience is generally praised, some users have found the height of the vehicle a minor inconvenience for entry and exit. Overall, the 2016 Honda Civic's combination of style, technology, and safety makes it an appealing option for compact car enthusiasts.

The 2016 Honda EX is a wonderful car. The MPG is great combined with the durability of a Honda. I upgraded from a 2002 Civic EX and got my last one up to 199K miles (only performing standard maintenance checkups). 100% worth the value, and I would recommend these cars to anyone.

Love, love, love my Hondas and this one is no different. Drives so smoothly and the hatchback is very handy. Would definitely recommend.

I love the smoothness of the drive. I love the size; I can zip in and out of any parking space. The real deal breaker for me was the left hand lane warning mirror. I do wish it was a little higher from the ground. I do struggle a little bit to get in and out.
