Overview

If you like your pickups big and fast, the GMC Yukon made some changes just for you in 2007. Key alterations include a sturdier frame, tighter steering, increased power, quieter materials, and more luxurious interior. Higher-tech features include heated seats in the first and second row, rear parking assist, navigation system, and a DVD system in the back.
Unlike other GMC models, the Yukon simplifies the selection process with 9 trims. All 9 use a 5.3 L, 320 hp V8 powertrain with 4 speed automatic transmission except for the SLE1 2WD, which sports a 4.8 L, 295 V8 version. Expect to get 16 mpg in the city, 21 on the highway. The basic 4WD and SLE1 trims have 4 doors and seat 9 while the other trims have 4 doors and seat 8. In the non-SLT2 trims, you'll have 60.3 cubic feet of cargo space, expandable to 109 after you fold down the second row and take out the third row. The SLT2's give you about 17 cubic feet with the seats up. Finally, the Yukon goes from 0-60 mph in just over 8.50 seconds.
Overall, reviewers like the Yukon's smooth handling, power, comfort, and generous seating capacity. However, you may need some weight-training to carry out the un-foldable third row of seats. In addition, smaller trims have a little trouble carrying heavier loads. Despite its shortcomings, the 2007 GMC Yukon represents the best edition yet and signals a positive trend in the development of domestic pickups.

what can I really say? Everyone already knows it's a sweet ride! It has a 6.2L engine, so the acceleration is amazing! When it comes to safety it's got ALL other SUV's beat by a landslide; side, front and curtain airbags not to mention ONSTAR and stabilitrack (beat that Ford & Dodge). The only drawback it's $80,000 price tag and love for fuel. Totally worth it though!! The best in it's class hands down!

Had a 2005 Yukon Denali and then got a 2007 model. Fantastic vehicle. The ride is exceptional ... floating on clouds. The power meets all my needs including occasional heavy towing. Looks and feels rich on inside with well laid out display gauges and roomy cabin. Nice features like heated seats, adjustable height pedals, electronic stability system. Just today saw another GMC Yukon Denali in black coming down road just like mine and it is a head-turner for sure. Great style, even better than the newer model Yukon Denali in my opinion. My 2007 just turned 230K miles. It runs and sounds like-new.. seriously. I am getting another car soon but will keep this one for utility purposes (towing) and extra passengers.

First let me start off by saying its a 2004, while registering here I didn't have that option. Equipped with a 6.0, the first time I hit the gas peddle I was impressed with how snappy it was and the AWD should go threw this NY snow like butter LOL. The leather seats are very comfortable with a lot of adjustments and heating on both parts of the seat. The headrest doesnt force your head down making it uncomfortable like the newer vehicles. I love the outside style of the older yukons up to 2006. 2007 they changed the headlights to reseamble the Envoy wich I don't care much for that look. The 3 zones makes everybody happy also.

Good value for an alround vehicle of its size. Gas mileage was average for that size also.
