Overview
The Toyota 4Runner has a new look for 2006 both inside and out, with an updated grille, bumpers, lamps and lower cladding and upgraded upholstery. Bigger bumpers, more noticeable fenders and standard skid plates lend this vehicle a rugged outdoorsy look, making it clear that Toyota wants to put the "sport" back in sports utility vehicle with the 2006 4Runner. However, the 4Runner is not without some high-end interior touches. Some of the high-tech options include a navigation system with a rear-mounted camera to assist in parallel parking and backing out, Bluetooth technology and a jack for portable audio devices.
The 2006 4Runner is available in three trim levels, which include the SR5, the Sport Edition and the Limited. All are available with a V6 or V8 engine and two or four-wheel drive. A third-row seat is available in some combinations, but users complain that it offers too little legroom and greatly reduces the available cargo space. Prices for the 2006 Toyota 4Runner range from approximately $27,000 to $40,000.

Best SUV I have ever own. Strong built and great response. Quality is one of the best and the look is just perfect for me. Also Gas consumption is very acceptable on a vehicule like this. The rugged look of the tires, hood, mudgards and rack is perfect. Definitively I 'll recommended

Very reliable suv and also fuel efficient. The cost to maintain and repair are also low. The insurance is just rite for this year and model.

I absolutely love this car; it's too bad I hadn't purchased the version with 3rd row seating initially. Compared to other offerings in this category the 4Runner is a much more serious vehicle when it comes to 4WD capabilities and rugged dependability.

I love this truck. It is very reliable. I have had no mechanical issues with it. We have been on many family trips and it's had plenty of room for luggage and everything else we needed to bring. It is a quality truck!
