The 2005 Lexus IS300 built by Toyota is a great mid-sized sport sedan. It is dependable, reliable, has excellent performance all at a mid-range price. One of the best cars on the market in the price range. Great features like the e-shift and the optional built-in dash GPS unit make this one a really fun car to drive around.

Performance - 3.0L 2jz should outperform the BMW 330i, but barely beats the BMW 325i. Disappointing NA power, but a good Boosting platform. Braking feels good, and handling is quite good with coil-overs, however chassis could be a little stiffer. Build Quality - only repairs needed were windshield wipers, which are normal wear and tear. only squeaks are probably from aftermarket suspension Appearance - very bland exterior and interior, however exterior is a great platform for modifications. Cost of Ownership - bad mileage for its weight and motor, but maintenance is cheap because nothing ever breaks Fun Factor - handles decent, is fun to drive, but needs more power!

Other then the amount of room in the back seats, I have nothing to complain about with the Lex.
