What’s New for the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray
The Corvette E-Ray was first introduced for the 2024 model year. For 2025, the changes are minimal and include new interior and exterior color options.
Design
The E-Ray has some subtle differences from the conventionally powered Corvette. First up, it’s wider. It uses the same wide-body setup as the high-powered Corvette Z06. That means it's 3.6 inches wider than the standard model. It also features wider wheels wrapped in all-season tires, which underscores the all-weather benefits of an AWD Corvette. The E-Ray comes equipped with 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels.
The Corvette E-Ray is offered in Coupe and Convertible body styles. Like other versions of the Corvette Coupe, the E-Ray features a removable roof panel, which stows in the cargo space behind the mid-mounted engine bay. Both the Coupe and Convertible offer 12.5 cubic feet of trunk space.
Powertrain
The Corvette E-Ray combines the standard Vette Z51’s 495-horsepower V8 engine with an electric motor at the front axle. This setup makes a combined 655 horsepower. A 10-speed automatic transmission routes the V8’s power to the rear wheels. The Corvette E-Ray can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, making it one of the fastest Corvettes ever. For reference, the conventionally powered Corvette will make the same run in 2.9 seconds. The E-Ray features standard Magnetic Selective Ride Control and carbon ceramic high-performance brake rotors.

Interior
Standard features in the 2025 E-Ray include dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, remote start, leather upholstery, and GT1 power-adjustable bucket seats. The 2LZ adds heated and ventilated front seats and is available with GT2 sport seats or more focused Competition Sport seats. The 3LZ trim adds carbon fiber interior details and premium leather upholstery, as well as expanded leather in the doors and center console.
Technology
The E-Ray comes equipped with a 12-inch digital instrument panel and an 8-inch touchscreen. The latter includes wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It also comes standard with a 10-speaker stereo, dual USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The 2LZ trim adds a performance data recorder, wireless device charging, and a 14-speaker Bose premium audio system.
Safety
Standard driver-assistance features on the E-Ray include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, rear parking sensors, a head-up display and lane-departure warning. The 2LZ trim adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera mirror.

Pricing and Release Date
