What’s New for the 2025 Audi RS 6 Avant

Audi continues to push the performance envelope of the RS 6 with the introduction of the 2025 RS 6 Avant GT, making it the quickest, fastest, and most powerful version to date. Limited to 85 units, the GT is a tribute to an IMSA racing legend. The standard RS 6 Avant performance stays relatively unchanged for 2025, after the introduction of the performance trim in 2024. Traffic-sign recognition is now standard on the 2025 model.

Design

The limited-edition RS 6 Avant GT gets a bold exterior design, with a unique red, gray, and black livery over Akrona White paint inspired by the iconic Audi 90 Quattro race car. The GT is also equipped with unique six-spoke 22-inch “Avus” wheels, a sleek new rear spoiler, a redesigned front fascia with a new splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, and unique carbon fiber fenders and hood. All of these carbon fiber components contribute to an 88-pound weight reduction compared to the standard RS 6 Avant performance.

Other exclusive standard equipment includes a roof rail delete and an adjustable coilover suspension, complete with higher spring rates and stiffer stabilizer bars for maximum performance.

Powertrain

Both the RS 6 Avant Performance and the GT get a 4.0 liter bi=turbo V8 engine, which produces 621 horsepower. Paired to a standard eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, the RS 6 Avant sprints to 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds. Thanks to its lightweight carbon components, the GT accelerates to 60 mph in only 3.2 seconds.

Technology

All 2025 Audi RS 6 Avants get a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit to amplify the driving experience. In manual mode, drivers get racecar-style shift lights that change from green to yellow to red as you approach redline. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, allowing easy access to your favorite apps. A Bang & Olufsen 19-speaker sound system with 1,820 watts of power and 3D sound is available for the AUDIophile.
