How long is a long time for a used car to sit on the same car lot?

I am looking at one that has been on the lot for 85 days, to me that seems like a really long time. It has also been reduced twice, about $1500, does that mean there's probably no room for negotiation?

Always room on a used car. Go make a ridiculously lower offer, if they say no, then walk and say you'll be back in a month with the same offer.
According to a recent CarGurus study, the average days on market for a 2006 sedan would be 46 days, so I'm guessing you have quite a bit of leverage in that negotiation. http://www.cargurus.com/press/20110126.html
Dude if the price is right and the car is nice just get it ! If you are a serious buyer that is :)
