my 99 firebird convertible also did this and I could not figure it out! one day I went out changed the battery out with a new one and it hasnt came back on sense. not sure if this is what solved the problem but i havn't seen the security light back on in about 4-5 months now Another thing I did before changing the battery is i went on Amazon and bought a cheap obd 2 code reader and everytime my car wouldn't start i plugged it in and deleted everything out and the light would go off and then start up fine! Hope this will help you out in someway!
