Dash Board Gauges are not working

Asked by papakid123 Nov 12, 2013 at 03:48 PM about the 2002 Pontiac Montana MontanaVision Extended AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving down the road and all my gauges stopped working.  My Low fuel light/traction control light and battery light keep flashing.  My speedometers/gas gauge/volt meter and radio are not working. My display on the roof is not working also. The van still drives but these gauges are not working. What is going on?

First thing to check would be your fuses. If that is not the problem, try disconnecing your battery cable for a few minutes to reset the cars computer and then turn the car on and see if it comes back to life.

Had that happen on my dodge caravan. My son took the cluster out and reheated the solder on power coming in fixed it he said the solder cracks over time.
