Gas Tank Access Door

I guess the link didn't work? sorry about that just purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 Black Out Big Horn. There is not release or lock to open the gas tank door. It's the strangest thing, I have to use an ice cream stick to pry the door open. This is a $53k pick up truck, i'm sure there's an easier way to do this or maybe they just forget to put the release on my truck. Any help would be appreciated.

I copied part of that discussion in last post, if relevant, other people are having the same problem. Didn't see a fix in discussion.
