Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When pushing unlock on my remote, the unlock mechanism on driver's side
door makes shrieking sound it unlocks the door, the button goes up and down ,
when I do it multiple times the sound comes and goes. Does anyone know what

The door lock actuator is going bad, if the lock rod is acting like its hanging up when you try to open it with the key the latch is also going bad. This era explorer had issues with both.
