91 Nissan Stanza auto trans problem wont move if trans put in any gear. Was coasting to a red light when the light turned green the carr would not move no slipping before this good fluid color and smell.

You may have a clogged tranny filter. You can bring it to a shop and have them try a new filter or do it yourself. Kind of a messy job. If filter is plugged with a ton of debris, that will cause you to lose pressure. Other than that, you may need a new transmission. Unfortunately, there's no easy fixes for auto transmissions.........

So ya don't think it is in the electronic controls , it does have a filter but the trans. has to be removed to change it out its not on the bottom like most. I thank you for your assist on this Reelin68.
