What engines will be best for my car?

What engines will fit in my 64 bel air it’s has no
engine or transmission at the moment

Most people would use a crate 350. If you do you can dress the engine to look just like the stock 283.

Is it cheaper to rebuild my motor from flood damage or just replace everything?
