2012 civic hybrid issue

Just got a 2012 civic hybrid in auction.
Says check IMA
Battery light
Engine light
Check brakes check power steering.
Brakes are stiff, car drove home fine. Took it
for a spin later after it had sat a while with a
new 12v battery in it and the ac quit the
hybrid batterys charge was down from 75%
to 25%, and it acts like the transmission is
slipping I find it hard to believe it drove
perfect until the battery drained. Is it just a
bad battery and the car seems like the
transmission is slipping because the hybrid
battery isn’t assisting? Need someone who
really knows these cars. From my
understanding these hybrid systems are
totally different from older Honda’s.

Charge the 12v starting battery, it maybe best to replace it. It’s a fail safe system trying to prevent you from leaving becoming stranded at an unknown location.
