2001 nissan xterra shut off at red light wont turn back on
My engine shut down while i was stopped at a red light. tried to start it again
and nothing. it cranks but wont turn over. just put a brand new battery in it 2
months ago. also it was not over heating.
I'm having the same issue did you get yours fixed?

Did you get that fix I have the same problem. With my Nissan 2001? Happen today.
Hi Robert in my case not good it is the timing belt and since it is an interference engine it destroyed the whole engine. Hope that is not your case
It was my timing belt but thankfully it didn't hurt the engine
