Anything other than destination charges (on a brand new vehicle), title, and registration fees is a money grab!! Yes, most, if not all, Dealers charge doc fees. This is to cover the expense of paying someone in their office to sit at a desk and prepare your paperwork. But $799 is excessive and way out of line!! It might take an hour or so, and that's pushing it, to prepare your paperwork. So how much is an hour of office time worth? Twenty dollars? Hope that helps! Jim
