Car will not start changed fuel pump getting fuel to the fuel rail but still not starting any idea's

Need help changed fuel pump and car still
not starting getting fuel at the fuel rail
wants to start with starting fluid please help

May i ask ,did car stop running while driving or just would not crank,what lead you to changing fuel pump?

Just wouldn't start in the morning change fuel pump because there was no pressure at the fuel rail plus you couldn't hear it kick on

Do you hear pump running when you first cut key on?

Car was running fine then would not start next day it's driving me crazy lol

If I spray starter fluid it almost starts

Almost starting and having fluid sprayed in,i would think you are getting fuel,you are not getting fire,give me a few minute,s to try and diagnose your problem.

I even plugged old fuel pump in to see I it was working but it didn't

There is a light on that I never seen before it looks like a gate and is yellow on the right side of the dash never seen one like it on any other car I ever had only comes on while I'm trying to start it

It can be ohmed,but you will have to remove it,and take it to a part,s store,unless you have and ohm meter.

It control,s fire ,tell,s the ecm.

My advice would be pull a plug wire,and check for fire,when engine is turned over,if it fire,s wacth it for afew round,s to make sure it hold,s strong fire,if it loose,s it then check the crank sensor.
