Have a 2001 galant gtz overheating after replacing all obvious fluid leaks as well as belt to ensure water pump is running properly.

It could be the pump, the impeller could be broken internally. The cioling fan may not be turning on. Cooling fan not getting up to speed. Thermostat may be defective. Radiator cap may be defective. Reserve tank vent may be clogged. The system may need a flush. The external face of the radiator may need to be washed well.
