1997 ford contour 2.0 will start for 3-6 sec then die
have a 1997 ford contour 2.0 reg fuel will not start normaly have to hold pedal to floor and it tries to start but dies right away has fire to all plugs had blown fuel pump fuse replace it also had bad wires on fuel rail they were exposed naked tape all them up. it tries to start with pedal to the floor can push shreadar valve while cranking and fuel shoots out of valve 6-8 inches high

tried new plugs, wires, coil pack, injectors,fuel filter
taped all wires has no codes did have 117,102po before but fixed them injectors firing fuel psi=42

I am also disabled with MS...DMV suspended my license pending a blurry of needed signatures~ wife won't let me work on cars any more...got four mechanics boxes full of tools because I lose my temper...this goodie is two bolts and an electrical connector...you should NEVER have to hold your foot to the floor...this speaks of defective TPS to me~
I think the other problems can be solved with a wirebrush...undo the 1/0awg Black Battery cable lug end that attaches to the frame/ground...with a coarse wirebrush clean the lug and chassis free of corrosion which was created by the 300 amp need of the startermotor and happens with every start~
