Won't start after jump starting battery.

New battery went dead. (Interior accessory left plugged in drained battery).
Now the battery is fully charged after sitting on charger overnight. Turn on
key, interior gauges come on, lights work, When I go to start it there is
nothing. It doesn't try to turn over. Someone listening right at the fuse box
under the engine hears a tick each time I try to start it. Odd thing, flashers
are flashing, but are not turned on.

Sorry, it's literally a brand new battery. As it turns out, I fixed it. The flashers were on without being switched on. That led me to research the security system. Per another post somewhere, I put the fuses all back in their place and I letting the flashers flash. I stood about 10 feet away from the car and used the keyfob to lock (and unlock) the door. This was enough to reset the system and the car started perfectly. The security system reset did have several other methods, but I tried this one first and it worked.
