dashboard lights won't come on

First, check the button or dial that dims the lights, on some cars, if you move the button all the way it turns the dash lights off instead of just dimming them. Then check ALL fuses and relays in ALL locations (under dash board or on either side and any in the engine compartment box as well), because the wiring to the lights could be on a split circuit meaning more than one fuse.
