VW Beetle Fans stay on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2015 VW beetle. My fans(both) constantly
run. Even with AC OFF. I can unlock my car and
boom they start running. I can shut my hood and
boom they start running. I can come out to my car
and open my trunk and boom they are on.
They will sometimes run 2min- 10 minutes after
shutting engine off. I only drive roughly 20 miles
when it stays on for 10.


Initially neither fans were running. Found a blown
fuse and boom they work again. But not they won’t
stop.

Have replaced cooling fan sensor and still nothing
has changed.
Could an after market cooling assembly be the
cause?
What would cause fans to run as soon as I unlock a
cooled car?

We,not myself are going to check out the module and the fan cooling switch. Last resort will be VW. Will post if this works
