THE ODDMETER SYMBOL ON THE CONTROL PANEL. IT IS A GREEN CHECKERED FLAG. LOOKED IN THE OWNER'S MANUEL BUT NO MENTION OF IT. WHAT IS IT FOR?

Mine is a 2016 ATS and the green and black checkered flag was on when I left my doctor appointment. I’m assuming from your answer that I inadvertently hit a button. Can you explain what this means as far as the driving experience and where do I change it?
I have a symbol on my dash. It is a square with line and a green check. It is in the bottom next to my tire pressure. 2016 Cadillac ATS.
