Spinning sound
When I try to crank my 2002 kia spectra it
only make a spinning sound people say it
the starter but i dont want to buy a starter
and its not the problem
It does sound like the starter drive is bad and it is part of the starter.
If you here spinning and no crank meaning running,it is your starter that is bad,replace or have it rebiult if you have a starter shop in your area.
yes...its the failure of your starter solenoid to fully engage the ring gear~ might have to check the Voltage to see if the solenoid has enough juice for the job...2002 sounds like you're due for a new battery...check IT's voltage...Buy a new battery 'cause 10 years and they don't take a charge anymore~ that's my diagnosis...and I'm stickin' to it~
