Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have been having a hard time starting my van.
Last week it would start if I slowly turned the key.
This morning my battery was dead, and the van
made a rapid clicking sound with I tried to start. I
just replaced the starter, the fuel valve, and the
battery all within the last 2 months.

The clicking was probably starter noise due to dead battery. Try to get it running with jump. Take to auto zone etc (don't turn it off) and ask them to test charging system for free. Have someone follow u jus in case. Also Sounds like ignition switch may not be working properly, maybe? Put lil wd40 on key and push in and out of ignition to get lil oil on tumblers. Hope it helps

Once I replaced the battery yesterday the click stopped. And when you turn the key you can hear the engine trying to turn over. But the only way it will is if I'm pushing the gas a little. I was going to replace the ignition switch today, but talked myself out of it. I feel like I'm replacing parts that are not the issue. This van is going to be the death of me.
