Hello I have a problem with my 2000 mustang. No brake lights no high beams no Cruze control and no dash lights ???

So, from what I've heard. The brake runs to the turn signal either way, if you pulled it off, it's the orange wire with the green stripe. Check the diagram. It says brake on everything brakes. I have the same problem, I replaced the bulbs, switch, checked the voltage to the tail lights, fuses everywhere. That's the only thing left besides a straight up broken wire. Mines a convertible if that matters.

If I can recall correctly, it goes up from the switch to the blinker # way multi.. then to the harness.

So.. Essentially follow from the switch.. it hits the multifunction, goes to the blinkers as well, then is yellow/orange or something to the lights. Single wire.

So, for me, its indicative of a short in the multi, or the turn signal, why. All my lights work, except brake. The third has a blub out, but the right lights when the trunk opens. So power to the brake switch, that, but not to the brakes, although all the rest work, blinkers and all, specifically the brake wire port is not conductive any further. Malfuntion.

Malfunction. Other possibilities are.. everyone checked fuses, but fuses, next, look at your brake pedal arm, theres a plug near the top. It's the actual indicator relay. Take your average adjustable fuse tester test it for power when applied. It will complete the circuit and tell you. That's all for today guys. Let me know if you need more info for the disassembling and reassembling.
