2017 Chevy Malibu shut off while at a red light

Thank You Ed92626. I have an appointment on Friday to have this all checked since it appears to be a safety issue with Malibus. I’m afraid of the car shutting down and losing power while on the highway at high speeds. I wish there was a recall .

Were you able to find out what the issue was?? My car is doing the same thing. Only it will pop up "service stabilitrack" after it dies and I try again. It also will not want to start just getting going. That was the first issue. It progressed to shutting off at red lights.
