Saving for a Ford mustang GT Premium

Depends on what all you want in the car and how good of a negotiator you are. Last month I purchased a brand new 2018 Mustang GT Premium. MSRP was $44,998. Dealer added some addendum for anti-theft, etc. for $1,600. So all in at $46,598. I walked out the door, tax, title and license included for $34,908. That's an unusually good deal, and my case is a bit special as my performance shop buys a lot of cars and also purchases a lot of our parts through the dealer I got the car from. However, I don't think it would be very hard to purchase the same car in the $38k - $39k range. I'd do what Tom is suggesting...search for a used one a few years down the road. I think he's on the money with the value too...likely $29k - $30k with decent miles 4 years down the road. Good luck.
