2017 Ford Explorer "Check Charging System Now" message

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check Charging System message came on and shortly after that air
conditioner started blowing warm air. Could it be compressor or alternator
problem?

Measure the voltage across the battery with the engine on? It should read 14V if charging properly.
